Downpipe (Catless) - Removal Front Resonator

Good Evening,

I would like to know what company people tend to go with when buying the downpipe (Decat) and the removal for the front resonator. I am not going to change the rest of the exhaust, as it is the JCW exhaust.

Any suggestions will be helpful!

Chris

Miltek makes an excellent downpipe that will mate up with your JCW exhaust.

Do you have a recommendation for a front resonator/ mid pipe?

I don't believe the JCW has a resonator in the midpipe, it does have a 2nd cat though.

Ok, my mistake- I would like to replace this cat, as well with a mid pipe any suggestions on who makes one?

Is that a cat?

Apparently. This is the only one I have ever seen but it is resonated:

Thank you for the link to this. I will do some reading on this part, but I think I will be happier with it not having a resonator.

I might go to an Exhaust shop and have a part made for the mini.

If you come across any other pipe, please let me know.

Also, do you like AEF for their pipes? I was going to get their downpipe, but it was on backorder. I went with Milltek hope it works well.

Chris

Milltek or Mario for the downpipe. Milltek is way cheaper but Mario's has the option of being cerakoted. As for the resonator in the midpipe it doesn't exist on the JCW. That big bulge is the secondary cat so shops aren't going to touch it due to the potential fines they face if caught removing it. However, if you cut it out yourself or even just remove the entire midpipe any decent muffler/exhaust shop can put in a new one. My shop charged me $100 to bend and weld a midpipe and I was in and out in 30 minutes.

That's the second cat (scrubber). The first one is on the downpipe itself. We carry the milltek catted which is what most people perfer. If you want catless shoot me a PM.

I love ECStuning and use them usually for everything I buy, but you did not have a catless on your website, which is why I order it from someone else.

Let us know how loud it is with neither cat and no resonator, haha.

Will do, but I am looking at doing a Supersprint Resonator in the place of the second CAT! It should sound epic!
