NM Module and JCW Tuning Kit

I added a JCW Tuning kit about 3 weeks ago and then got a NM module this week. I loved the Tuning kit by itself but got a good deal on the NM and decided to try it. I can definitely feel the extra power NM adds. My question for others that have this set up is, does your car jerk when the turbo kicks in now. Example: I am in 3rd gear at about 2500-3000 RPM and I floor it, The car starts to accelerate but then jerks as it really kicks in. With the JCW tune I had good smooth power but don’t feel like I have that now. Also sometimes it doesn’t seem to jerk as bad as other times. Is this normal for this setup? (By the way, I am running 93 octane and the low setting)

I ran that exact combination for well over a year and never had that problem. I did however learn to practice smoother transitions regarding throttle.

I wonder if that is the problem because I usually come close to flooring it when this happens. I still feel like even when I am careful to be smooth it jerks a bit. You think unplugging it running for a few days an plugging it back in would help?

It’s possible, because the ECU goes onto a learning mode when you plug in a piggy back module. Are you having the problem in normal mode or sport mode? Mine stays in sport mode.

I wouldn't floor it with the NM clipon in place. I have a JCW Coupe and Stage 1 Manic ECU tune but I don't floor it I keep pushing the pedal down til it lurches and stays steady. The thing screeches when it shifts!
