F55/F56 Which is more effective: strut tower brace or Craven’s “Big Pair”?

Hi everyone,

I just joined the forums today and have a ‘19 F56 S with both the NM Engineering strut tower brace and the CravenSpeed’s Big Pair installed.

The strut tower brace was installed first and to me it felt more stable. After a couple of weeks I had the Big Pair installed and it felt even better.

In the future I’m looking to install the NM Engineering rear sway bar and end links.

Rich

Has anyone done a comparison between the Cravenspeed Big Pair and the WMW Chassis Bones? They appear to beof similar construction, but the Chassis Bones, while more cost effective, seem to be more delicate (at least in appearance) than the Big Pair. My concern would be the difference in feel (less stiffness) and how well they would hold up over time.

IMO The center brace won't do much (if anything at all vs stock) as the deflection along the floor is shear not much twisting (any other mechanical engineer care to debate this, get strain gages on the parts etc?)
If your going to do it, I would put the money towards the GP3 rear brace as its anchored at 4 points. Posted elsewhere about $400-ish.
I have the iSweep front 6 point brace, it does makes the car a bit stiffer $600-ish. I was going to pull the trigger on the rear GP3 brace but am looking at another car now.

I have the big pair on my Cooper S and own a GP3...the GP3 brace is better.

Has anyone happened attach all 3 MMR chassis braces to the F56 and compare them to any of these other brands?

I got both - Big Pair first. WTF spend the jack
Also got heaviest Sway Bars, Fr. & R
you wanna corner ? Go Low ! Get short R. Springs & short Fr. C/Os The best cornering machines in the world are mid-engine race cars, the 2nd best are FWD all weight over fr. steering wheels. trick out everything & corner with the big boys.
