SRP vs. STB

Is one or the other better at preventing mushrooms? I recall somebody saying that the STB will redirect the force throughout the whole bar, but who knows. I sure don't. Anybody have an idea?

The M7 products, i.e. Strut bar and the strut reinforcement plates both provide the benefit of protecting you from mushrooming. The advantage of the strut bar is that it will help stiffen the front body more and prevent from flexing. So the little extra money will net you two functions then just one! Some will say that the strut bar provides no advantage, and others will say they have felt a difference. I have felt a difference with a strut bar. So depending on your spending limit, if you can fork over the extra money, go with the m7 strut bar brace.

There is a potential benefit to the fight against mushrooming with the strut brace, but it's difficult to quantify. Anytime you can create a path to transfer the force that causes things like mushrooming, you have another line of defense againt it happening.

That said, I think there's definately a benefit to the strut brace. On my car it certainly tightened up the car some, and even more so after I jacked up one side of the car and preloaded the strut brace. If you have any questions, let me know!
