JCW Tuning Kit installation Price

So I just ordered the JCW Tuning kit for my F56. My dealer is charging $850 for the installation and the programming of the kit. How much have you guys paid for the installation of the Kit? I was considering getting it installed by an independent BMW repair shop and getting the programming done at the dealership. Anyone else has gone that route?

Are you talking about the exhaust and ECU programming?

You could easily do the exhaust and run the Bluetooth for the flap and leave the coding to the dealership

Is it really hard to install? I have 0 experience with any car mod's and I was considering doing the installation at a shop and leaving the ECU tune for the dealer.

The exhaust is easy but Ive done a few over the years. Its just a few bolts and hangars. I'll look tomorrow how the bluetooth is run.

I do know there is a place on the exhaust where is attaches to but I'm not sure how the wiring is run through the trunk to the back though. Im sure any decent exhaust shop can put the exhaust on for $50-$60 bucks

do it yourself or take to a local shop. You only need the dealer to load the software the rest is easy. We've done a couple of them and do it in a couple hours or less.

Thanks for your help guys
Can I ask you how much do you guys typically charge for the installation of the exhaust or what you would consider a fair price for labor of installing the exhaust? I will definitely will get it done by a shop, since the dealer price is really high, but I would definitely would like to have a price reference, thanks.

Thanks for your help!
The kit should be getting here today, so tomorrow I’ll be going around to get some estimates at different shops. At least now I have some reference so I don’t get scammed with the installation.
