Don't know about Bimmercode, but all the 3rd gen MINIs are under F056 when you're choosing chassis. This includes the F56, F55, F54, F60, F57, and even the BMW X1

Is that the correct coding?? Only reason I ask is I don't see "Blinkzyklen_anzahl_tipp" in 3060.. Would it be different for a 2018 S Convertible (F57)?? All the other coding that you have generously provided has worked..

Thanks in advance!!

Tried the app for the first time today. After a few stumbles I got the hang of it. I managed to enable the rear fogs......finally. I did it using expert mode and I didn't notice the additional steps the first time. Tried to change the momentary turn signals to five. The shortcut says it's set to five, but it never changed from three. I gave up on that after a while. Disabled ASD, but can't tell any difference. Probably just my hearing. Enabled front fogs w/high beams, and enabled temp readings w/TPMS. Few other things I can't remember now. Funny thing, my left rear side marker light stayed on the whole time I was coding. Oh yeah, added key fob closing for windows too. Thanks TV guy, your cheat sheet was a big help.

The parameter changed after a software update on my 2016 F56.

Search for PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN As I recall, you no longer get to specify the actual number of blinks. Instead, you select from fixed values. I use FUENFMAL for five blinks.

Hope this helps.

Is this still under 3060?

Thanks. I'll make a note of that for the next time I'm fiddling with the coding. I also sent a suggestion to bimmercode to update the shortcut.

Yes, it did change after coding, Bimmercode's shortcut must lead to the old path I had.

3069
PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN =FUENFMAL

I just used this to program 5 blinks.

Yea, so, many shortcuts don't work due to the new MINI upgraded software.

Thats why I had to program my LED bulbs using expert mode.

Added it to my notes. I'll get to it next time. I'm curious if bimmercode will get back to me about updating the app.

Stephan takes a couple days.
He always responds with it will be in the next revision!!
Mostly correct.

He can only confirm his shortcuts by finding an F56 with
the latest MINI coding.
So make sure he has your backups. Backups contain
the same thing that ends up in expert mode. What it reads
before you code.
Best if you open all the modules, the backup will contain them all.

This is the email I got from them this morning.

"Hi,
this has been restricted by BMW and at the moment it is not possible to have more than three indicator cycles.

Kind regards
Stephan "

Activate heated seats and steering wheel

Any suggestions on which code/value fields to use for activating heated seats and steering wheel based on outside temp? I have a 2018 x5 where this feature appears to be disabled, but it is available in other models. Help is greatly appreciated... winter is coming

Is there any way to code the air circulation control to remain on "M" instead of going back to "A" every so often? It's especially annoying in the spring and fall when the temperature is in the 60's here and you're sitting in Houston traffic getting asphyxiated because the setting has gone back to "A". Thanks.
Mike B.

I have to go back and check my coding for "fogs on w/high beams". I was following my Daughter the other night and she said one of my fogs was out. Anyone have this problem?

Haven't had a chance to fiddle with it yet.

EDIT: Might as well wait for the new update before I do anything.

FYI- Stephan said there will be a new Bimmercode update within the next 7 days. I had sent him log files on items that didn’t work on my 2018 F60 and he said the software in my Countryman was too new. I will be cool to see what he has accomplished.

Is there a code to stop the windows from going down the 2-3mm when you open and close the door? That scares the heck out of me in the Minnesota winter

No, that protects the windows from hitting the body.
If they didn't go down, your windows would break.

Good point. Man, I tell you though on an ice'd up window that window going down brings chills to my body
