Rubber seals on plastic trim

Hey everyone,

I've had the car now for about two years and I'm noticing that some of the rubber seals between the paint and the plastic trim on the exterior are starting to come apart. For example, there is about an inch of the rubber liner on door where it meets the chrome that has wiggled it's way out of place and is now hanging down. I've noticed that around the roof racks this is happening too. Anyone else experience this?

Do you have a picture of it? So far all my seals are good. I drive a 2015.

Yeah, a picture would be great. This is actually one of my concerns as well. So far I don't have this problem but I always thought a gap might develop. When looked from the side, the lines are not really sitting flush with the body. I might be too picky though. I want things like my phone and laptop to be perfectly aligned where the edges meet. That's why I ended up with rMBP13 in late 2013. HTC One (M7) had horrible gaps and misalignments. Galaxy S6 also had some edges not meeting correctly. I now have a Galaxy S7 Edge and everything is perfectly aligned.

That is bad news because my mini is 3 months old, and on mine, I can see that rubber strip is not aligned - it's already drooping.

All my trim still looks ok. Might be something to be careful of when washing the car. The trim should be able to be replaced, might be a little tricky because it is on the door. Warranty should cover it.
