Yeah, it matches the car pretty nicely. I've never done a roof carrier myself and obviously cannot with the Mini I drive but looks good.

That looks good! Adding that to the list of options for my next MINI

My next MINI will have:

Roof Rails
Storage Package
Bike Prep
(Rearview camera, if not already standard)

Nice, I like it. Here's mine, although I've changed to Rocky Mount trays that allow me to keep the front wheel on.

F56 roof racks here, most people like to pair them with Rockymounts as they have many color options.

Not at all. Last long trip was over 2,000 miles without issue.

Motor on then. I like the Inno for the size. It is really there to carry dirty bits after camping.

On an F56, no you dont get the cross bars, just the rails to hold the feet of the cross bars.

Thanks ECS. I guess that gives some room for customizing with Thule, Yakima, etc. But I might need to just pick up the the Mini cross bars at the dealer, it looks like they have a lock built into them.

Supposed to take delivery on my F56 JCW on Saturday...if it gets off the truck tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Here is a Mini Cooper Roof Rack application guide that should help with choosing the right rack for the right application. http://new.minimania.com/Mini_Cooper...lication_Guide

Please let us know if we can help!

Thule's Aero edge and Whispbar make bars that sit lower to the roof than the stock ones. Might make for a cleaner look...

Cargo basket

I have the Mini crossbars and use the red Rockymounts bike carriers, but for camping trips just added the Rocky Mounts cargo basket. I can switch between the two configurations in 10 minutes.

Is that the crossbar set that will attach to the Clubman roof rails? We ordered our Clubman (F54) with the roof rails but the MINI site is really unclear about what actually attaches to them. I'm not crazy about buying yet another roof rack setup, but I hate the current situation where our R53 doesn't have the OEM setup.

Who's leg do we have to hump to get an F54 specific sub forum around here?

How terrible is the wind noise with the factory bars? I've got them on my CMS and have gotten used to it, but my wife's car is so beautifully quiet without them.

I like the look of the basket...this might be an ideal option for our road trips with the dogs. That way we can keep the back seats down for them and all our crap on the roof. Do you have any pics from the side? How's the noise with this thing?

Does anyone know if these are the same no matter the model cooper? I have them on my CMS and it would be awesome if they'll fit on the factory rails coming on my JCW. I've been trying to find specs on these to compare to mine, but have yet to do so.
