Boarded this Vessel named Tiger yesterday, headed for the USA!!

Baltimore MD Port of Entry with an ETA to arrive port on 05/06/2016. Then to me in the Midwest.

Ordered 04/02/2016. Completion of Build: 04/14/2016 Shipped: 04/28/2016

Getting Excited...

 

My F55 is on the Same boat, Ordered 3/31 completion 4/13, it was scheduled for shipping on Aida on the 19th but didn't get loaded but finally got on the Tiger. Where in the Midwest is it going? I am hoping for mine by the 14th but we will see.

 

Mine is coming into Illinois region, where I'll pick it up. Looking forward to my first MINI

 

Any update on your Clubman? I show the boat arrived on Saturday but told not not going to get to Omaha until 19th or 20th which seems pretty long.

 

No update yet. Other than, you are correct it arrived and unloaded Saturday. I was actually thinking that the weekend of the 21st would be about right?

But maybe that is considered long? Congrats though, ...shouldn't be too much longer.

 

I am impatient. and was hoping quick turn around at VDC.

 

Is there a distribution rail center somewhere between the Baltimore port and Omaha? My wife's Clubman will come into Pittsburgh, but I don't know if that is close enough that they will truck it straight from the port or if they will send it through some other cross dock.

 

I am not sure I know there is a big rail yard in Kansas City where a lot of cars come into, but that is 200 miles south, but the way the sales manager talks he acts like it goes straight from Baltimore to him. I am not sure, but i thought it would go rail first because it is cheaper to move it across the country but slower. I would think yours would come into Chicago which is HUGE for rail.

 

Chicago is every bit of 7 hrs from Pittsburgh while Baltimore is only 4. I'd be surprised if they would double back like that for east coast cars.

 

yeah not for east coast but I was meaning for you since you are in Illinois, get it to Chicago and then deliver it out from there.

 

My new MINI has arrived at dealer on 05/12. Unfortunately, I have such a busy week and won't be able to get there for about another week...

 

Can't imagine that, 5 days to dealer through VDC seems quick, super jealous!!! I hope there was no issue with mine on the journey, there is no way to find that out is there? You better get yours before I get mine next weekend.

 

So I went on to check its status online just to see by some miracle it moved a day and it moved from next Thursday to tomorrow, i instantly emailed the dealer, I guess now I might have it by Saturday but probably Monday.

Yeah, we arrived Baltimore 5/7 and mine went through VDC and turned over to the transport trucking on the 10th, and at my dealers last night.

...But, like I said just real busy right now so it will probably be a week or so before I can make it to the Chicagoland Area.

You just may have yours, before me!
