Question for those who have had the engine recall

Well first of all I swear it seems like my car has less power now, especially 6th if you just barely push the throttle I can be runnin 75-80 and it will tell me to hear down to 4th which it never did before.

And and another thing had the engine replace a week ago haven't drove it but maybe like 300 miles and finally popped the hood. The entire engine is coated in like silicone or worse case oil. Why would they coat the engine like that? The whole thing is slimy, it's going to be a dust magnet. Any of yours come back like that? I don't see a leak anywhere ??????

Hard to tell from the picture I don't know if it's oil or what. Oil seems to be fine in a few months with dust it's going to be a nihghtmare.

It's on the frame of the car surrounding the engine also, no smell of oil though.

Yeah, it looks like they put some Armor All type of product on the engine cover. You can just lift the cover off to clean it with some all purpose cleaner then just snap it back on.
