First month with my F55

I have had my F55 justa for one month now and I have to say I still love it. Going around corners fast and being able to press the gas peddle slightly to shoot past something puts a big grin on my face. I find myself looking back at it every time I park. Sometimes I want just get a chair and sit and stare at it;-) I'm obsessive about keeping it clean. I've missed my offramp going home a few times because I'm enjoying the drive so much. I've noticed several head turns when I drive it, I'm guessing because of the big Union Jack on the roof. I've only gotten two waves in return which is not too bad because I live where there are a lot of MINIs. I'm planning on getting the windows tinted soon which will not only make it look nicer but keep it cooler inside.
All in all I'm really happy with my MINI. I cant wait to take it on a real road trip.

As a fellow F55 driver, I can totally relate to all of this

I've had mine for 6 months now and the need to obsessively wash it has faded somewhat. Once every 2-3 weeks now instead of twice a week...
I, too have also deliberately taking the long way home from work so my commute would last longer

Nice GoBadges on the front. Are you Irish? I'm a Brit myself and have the Union Jack one on mine. Might get the St George's cross as well.

I get quite a few nods and waves here in Maryland. But I think that's because there aren't that many MINI drivers over here. I was in San Francisco and Seattle 2 weeks ago and was astonished at how many MINIs are on the west coast compared to the east.

Anyhow, that joy you're feeling won't fade, and neither will the admiring looks

Yay, MINI!

Nice 4 door. We got ours at the end of September and it's the perfect car for my daily commute and for day trips. We also did a weekend trip from Maryland to Georgia.

The MINI obsession is strong. I've spent far too much money on various knick-knacks for it and am even going to customize my garage around my MINI (new floor coating and metal cabinets to match MINI colors).

I think all of our F55s will still be putting smiles on our faces many years from now.

I'm Irish and English so that's why I have both on the car. I've gone a bit go badge crazy. I change them out with some other fun ones. I might get one of the heritage ones next. I live in Long Beach and there is quite a few MINIs out here. So anytime I get a wave back, I'm happy. This car makes me love driving for sure.

I've also spent a lot on knick-knacks and small accessories. I even bought the black jack interior accents before I got the car. Just got a Motor On license plate frame for the front and a go badges one for back to add more badges. I'm thinking of getting Jack side markers but wonder if it'll be too much. Anyway, having a blast driving it!

" I'm thinking of getting Jack side markers but wonder if it'll be too much. " Think it will work. Matches the theme.

You need a road trip

Very nice looking car. You too have been bitten "hard" by the MINI Bug.

Five months with ours and I'm still doing the same things you are. Also wife and I are noticing we seem to see every other MINI on the road and saying "Coop" out loud each time we do.

Certainly more than just transportation.
