OBDII tool for F56 - suggestions?

Any suggestions for an OBDII tool that works for the F56? Any that would also work on other vehicles? I'm having some trouble getting that info from the manufacturers' websites. The Bavarian Technic tool sold by BMS doesn't look like it would work on the F56, at least according to the BT website.

I would expect that any that's made for F-series BMW models would also work with the F56. Is that not the case?

What do you want to do with it?

I'm using a GoPoint BT-1 along with the DashCommand app.

ScanGaugeII with the Mini Gen3 firmware is a good choice. Monitors stuff like oil temp, boost, HP and can clear codes if you throw them too.

I have a ScanGauge that I keep around to read/reset codes. I can't see why it wouldn't work in the F56, I just haven't had a need to try it.

If I were to go to a different tool, I'd probably pick up an Automatic and download Dash Command onto my phone.

I've been using my OBDwiz and OBDlink SX from Scantool.net for years now with great success. It's also very affordable.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like all are good choices - went with the GoPoint BT-1 with DashCommand, as I'll use it primarily for engine performance monitoring with aftermarket tuning, and sounds like a lot of the kinks have been worked out with Apple compatibility.
