Anyone else thinking of their next MINI?

So we just took delivery on our 2015 MCS and already, I'm thinking of how I'll configure my next one (thinking a full JCW next time with plenty of bells and whistles) . Anyone else having similar thoughts?

This is the first car I've ever owned where I'm entertaining thoughts of my next one before the new car smell is gone.

We're definitely considering an F54 already.

I've still got 2 1/2 years of new car warranty left. As that draws near the end I will see what's available then.

I love my F56, but I love all the changes on the F54, and short of wanting to switch to it, it is making me jealous

A MINI Minor would be quite tempting

me too, saw a couple of vids at the dealers last week, so i's definitely on the cards. But then again I'm also hankering after a cheeky little number with a blue oval on the front.

Anyone else see a bit of the Land Rover Evoque DNA in the F54?

Yep! I'll admit, the thought crossed my mind as well!

The 2015 MCS was my first MINI and I honestly think I don't want to drive anything else anymore.

I'll probably wait until they bring out the 4th generation Coopers though. I just hope the new Cooper won't get any bigger.

I parked my 4 door next to a 2nd gen Justa the other day, and I have to admit, the smaller older models just looked plain nicer because of the dinky size.

But yeah, there are a few options I regret not getting, so my next one will be completely tricked out.

Not sure it is a good testimony for Mini - "I just bought a New Mini and can't wait to get something different"

I'm thinking of my last Mini ...

Unless the Rocketman comes to be and is more like the R53 in character, there won't be a new MINI in my future.

I have a magazine from 2012 that states the Rocketman is slotted for 2017-2018. I wonder if this is still the case. I've kept the magazine because I want to see if it plays out like predicted.
I also love the look of the Superlegga.
But, no, I'm loving my F56S and have no dreams about the next MINI. If I found a classic Mini Pickup truck I would add that to my collection, but not replace :D.

Me too, Rocketman/MINI Minor, and it better be sporty. I may consider a Roadster/SuperL or I will get a Classic Mini one day.

Next MINI

I plan on keeping my '15S for awhile. But our second car,an Audi A7 will be gone in a couple of years. My wife misses her '08 S4 Avant that we traded in for the A7. The S4 started to have a lot of "gremlins" that could leave us stranded and I just lost faith in the car.
Anyway, the new Clubman, loaded, would be a great replacement for her S4.

It definitely isn't still the case. Since 2012 they've scrapped it entirely and then maybe brought it back, last I heard. I don't think they've officially announced that they're developing it, have they?

The new clubman is very likely going to be our next car although I'm probably in a very small minority in that I'd have liked them to make it 6-12" longer.

It looks like cargo capacity is smaller than a Golf of Focus and I was hoping it would be on par or better. So the golf R or Focus RS may win out instead.

I'm liking what I see in the F54 Clubman and hope they make a Superleggera in a coupe (in addition to the planned ragtop). Still liking the JCW F56 too

The Superleggera looks like an Audi TT and Jaguar D had a baby.

I can see my wife in an F54. Me, I'm good in the JCW for a few, but her 2010 Honda may need an upgrade, and her favorite cars are station wagons. I came this close to ordering an F56 last year too, but had the Coupe in my brain big time.

I said our last cars would be our last. Then bought the JCW Coupe, then got ticked off at it and Mini. We sold em both and now were back to Mini F56S. I think we will keep these for while. (Yea that's what I said the last time!)

But this is a much different car than our R56S and the Coupe. If they both continue to run and serve us well we may keep them around for awhile. Besides I'm going broke buying all these darn depreciating assets. LOL
