Cool pictures. Bet the dealership and/or Mini loved you with all the accessories purchased.

Wonder what the difference would have been if you went with the "S" as some of the packages are lower with the "S".

I spec'd it out as an S (although I wanted the base) and it came out to be about $3k more. The packaging is not drastically different. I could have optioned up the spoiler on the S (without JCW ext- since you can't get this with Active driving assistant which I wanted).

As for accessories. There are only 4:

LED Driving Lights (Installed at port)
Short Antenna (I bought from ECS)
Key Fob (I bought from ECS)
Phone Dock (I bought from German eBay)

I was surprised about two things that everyone misinformed me about:

1) The car does have a spare tire. It is not deleted with run flats!

2) The rear bike rack prep actually includes a wiring harness under the bumper, not just threads in the circular tow hook cut outs!

I love that it has all the options which are being deleted for 2016:

1) DVD Changer
2) Rear Fog Light
3) Homelink
4) Smoker's Pkg
5) Hidden Storage Compartment

I'm kind of glad all those accessories are being deleted from 2016. Except for the DVD changer, but i'm not sure you can operate the DVD driving anyways.

I have a mountain bike and will probably go the "roof rack" route. But not ruling out the "rear bike rack" prep. MY current car (370z) can't support either and I have to use a SeaSucker suction cup rack instead.

3 questions:

1) how long did it take you to wait from order to deliver?
2) What is the difference in antennas (is there one by default)?
3) How much is the phone dock normally?

.

1) Ordered May 9, 2015. Delivered June 27, 2015 (I was in Europe so it sat for a week and really came in June 20, 2015).

2) The standard antenna is much longer. You can see it in the picture of the trunk sitting on the ground

3) The phone dock was about $250. I have not figured out its full functionality, but the fan in the arm rest to cool down the phone when it gets hot is cool.

Incredible, but I'm choking on the price of the LED Chrome Fogs, Wow!

Still, ...what a car, nice work!

Looks like a sweet ride, hope you enjoy yourself immensely!
Two questions:
1. Whats that port-looking thing on the underside of the car that seems to open up (theres two pictures)?
2. Whats the button on the right side of the steering wheel column with a number 2 on it? Guessing its part of the driving assistant package?
Thanks!

So Sick!

That is the best looking Mini I have ever seen. Love the Lapis Luxury Blue and the seats.

Enjoy every second!

1) This is part of the rear bike rack prep option. Under a little cover in the bumper is a covered wiring harness. I was told it is so that you can plug in the bike rack since it has lights due to the fact it covers the rear lights. Yet the bike rack is still not available in the US. So I wait.

2) This is the button for the LED Driving lights mounted on the grille. It is not part of the driving assistant. The auto high beams are part of the active driving assistant and the switch is located on the left stalk below the BC button.

Those seats. I would have sex with those seats. Not on them, with them.

I'm loving that blue to death too. Gorgeous color. It looks like the exact same shade as BRG only in blue.

Holy cow!! Congratulations on that amazing car! LOVE IT!

Jeez... I've not hit 12K on my car... yet, and I'm already planning for my next one -- is this normal?

My wife isn't going to be happy.

Sweet build!

It's nice to see the options that I didn't get in-situ. Mine's pretty loaded, but yours is on another plane.

I love my F56, but the F54 Clubman has me feeling very jealous. That dash and the improved iDrive positioning, and the electric seats are really tugging at my "envy nerve." [slaps his own face]

I have configured 4 this morning most of the options you have 2 door Justa and S, 4door Justa and S Tried with the Grey Lounge leather instead of black grey door panels. Black get so hat in California. That Black interior still looks good. What is kinda funny is the almost 40K price tag......ON A MINI LOLBut you know I would do it. But at 73 years old my family might try to put me on the farm. I love that Blue

I don't think he got an automatic transmission (of all things). Love all the chrome, and the wheels. Stunning car. To think this Cooper cost the same as my JCW Coupe with AT! But you got all the gizmos and that interior rocks. Proof again that you can make your Mini yours. No two are alike. Nice job!

Jeesh! Nice build!

Love the fact that a justa can make a base model JCW look ordinary. That's what MINI is all about.

It's pretty much the inverse of my car. I don't have any of the fancy options, but I got the S and Sport transmission. Then again, I wanted speed and handling over gadgetry, but boy, I love your car. It's glorious

Agree with the other poster, it's very cool to see all those extra options actually ON the car!
Enjoy! Real head turner...

In summary, I did not get:

JCW Interior pkg due to an Order conflict with Mini Yours Steering Wheel

JCW Exterior pkg due to an Order conflict with Active Driving Assistant

Automatic (Did not want)

Stripes (included but did not want)
