Ryephile has been making legit posts with detail. It's something I've been following since I'm considering a suspension kit.
Neither are you. But that did not stop you from interjecting your 2 cents.

@Ryephile Is there a reliable guide that's posted somewhere that could help with suspension setup? I lean more towards the JCW Suspension Kit since it's factory backed and I would assume it's tuned for the vehicle.

I wish there was! It's very easy to make a decision with aftermarket parts where it seems like the right solution but not be made aware of the negatives that have been glossed over. I'm not sure there's a good blanket guide that could be made, as the starting point ends up being the individual and their goals, whether expressed or implied. A very talented driver with deep pockets is able to discern and develop the car to be quick much more efficiently than a first-timer that's learning from scratch. That said, what a good [safe] setup is for a new driver is most likely going to be different than a pro racer.

Personally, I wouldn't make the assumption the JCW suspension is any more tuned for the F56 than the KW offerings, especially given the former is built by the latter. If someone goes the extra miles and dynos the dampers and springs, we could make a better decision as to which is better for what application. Right now we're just guessing.

Not everyone is willing [or capable] to spend the time and money to engineer, design, and develop a setup to DD on "money" dampers (Penske, MCS, JRZ, et al). This is where the KW lineup makes a tempting compromise; no design required on the buyers' end, just install and adjust to taste. You're not getting the best damper, but not the worst either. I'd call the KW solutions a good "OEM+" option to get a lower ride height without giving up all your compression travel. At least, all the KW's I've measured [many platforms for many years] fit that description.

Places that the F56 clearly needs development is achieving good cornering balance [only option is NM rear sway bar], and front camber/caster options [via camber plates and/or lower control arm bushings]. Whether more options come about will depend on the market demand, but looking at history it's a good possibility the aftermarket will eventually catch up with the F56 like it has with previous generations.
