hmmm... BMW and Mini are popular in certain parts of town. I have discovered that residents of those certain parts of town are less respectful of the personal property of others than one would like.

I've heard that these anti-theft caps have a few issues - namely screwing with the tire pressure monitor, and also seizing up / rusting. It would be nice to have something like this, but I'm a bit wary...

Yeah, valve stem caps (even plain ones) are commonly stolen. Sucks, but that's life. People just have no conscience and will steal anything. If they were custom fit for a particular car model the issue would be lessened. But they can be easily stolen and installed on any car. A big reason why it's so hard to hold on to them on your own car.
