I just fitted JCW tuning kit and coded at the Dealer's, However, during the entire process, the system didn't even ask for the FSC file which as generated by the pin comes from the envelop in the kit's box.
And, after coding, I can't really feel the difference. Do you guys have this problem?
I'm thinking the coding process might has some error.
Initially, I did not feel any difference either. It took 80Km for my car to readapt.
The difference is mainly from 5000rpm and up.
During my coding I got battery-errors and the AC was disabled by mistake.

HI, Rajapruk
did your Dealer insert the FSC file ? do you have Esys?
during my installation, the FSC activation file is simply NOT needed at all
I do not know any details. I do not have esys.
As far as I know, they entered some code into the car, and then did an reprogramming of some of the ECUs.
After the programming, my car gave strange battery errors and the AC was disabled. This they fixed.
Larry, are you in the US? I'm still trying to get some info about this kit.
The F56 JCW kits were just recently released for the US. Looks like list price will be about $2083.00. There are a couple videos on YouTube of people with the kit installed and personally, i love the sound of the exhaust this kit includes. It also has a Bluetooth remote to open and close a dump valve. We are waiting to hear back from our regional accessory sales manager on more information regarding the kit but will try to keep you updated!
What all does the kit include? I have a '15 MCS. Is this a dealership install or DIY?
Dealership. This doesn't void your warranty unlike the 3rd party ECU kits. I wonder what the HP gain is. Obviously this doesn't include the JCW turbocharger, which is a big part of the engine upgrade. I'm assuming the $2,000 is the total cost, since there probably aren't any new parts installed. Pretty pricey. Maybe the people who have hacked into the operating system could jerryrig one of these tunes!
The price we posted is parts only. There would be labor time for the installation of the software and the JCW exhaust, which also has to be wired for the Bluetooth activated dump valve.
However, This kit is not even listed on MINIUSA yet so our knowledge is still limited.

Rumored power increase of 19 hp (189 to 208) and 20 ft-lb (207 to 221).
The kit includes an exhaust system (with BT controlled flap) and remap. Tips (chrome or carbon fiber) are extra.

People keep saying this, but.....the aftermarket tuner kits like the Burger Performance Stage 1 Beta tuner are not detectable if you remove it when visiting your dealer. Spending $2K+ (installation is extra) for a dealer-happy kit that provides a minimal performance gain just doesn't make sense. If it was under $500, maybe. But over $2K? No. I considered this F56 tuning kit but just couldn't justify the cost. Instead, I went with the Burger Stage 1 Beta tuner and have been loving it for over 8 months now.
I only point this tuner out because it really is non-detectable. So really no really not to go with it. JMO, of course. Your decision either way.

It's a beta product. There have been several posts about issues with the B46 engine. Once it's out of beta, I might consider it.
Yes, it is still called a beta, but it really isn't any longer. The B48 tuner has been out for over a year with many installs, so I don't really understand why Terry still labels it "Beta". But for the B38 engine, it is much newer, and I do understand your caution so early. I do know that there have been a couple of minor issues with the '15 MCS application, but none that I am aware of with the '14 B48.

Ah, I thought you had a B38 for some reason. Me bad. LOL. Check the Burger related threats for more info on the B46 minor issues. I believe they are error codes that don't affect driveability. You could also contact Terry for more info.

According to our parts dept these are still not available in the US and all the early ones were to be destroyed as the tune melted several CPU systems just FYI.

There are in-fact people in the US that already have it installed. I'm getting my F56 next week, and it will have the JCW Tuning kit installed as well.
How does this kit gives an extra 20HP? It doesn't include new downpipe/hi-flow CAT nor a new turbo. I doubt a catback system would give 20HP by itself.
Does that mean the software update gives a slight increase in boost? Say 2-3 psi, similar to what aftermarket tuning boxes are doing?
So if we were to combine the JCW Tuning Kit with a BMS Stage 1, the car would be pushing 5-6 psi over stock boost? That's quite dangerous for people running lower quality fuel.
