Chrome trim around headlight is starting to wrinkle:

 

Dang!! How old is the car? Take it back to dealer as I'm sure they will replace it like I already know you knew that..LOL

 

Last time I saw that was heat warping on the chrome finished hood scoop. Interesting that this example is around the headlight.
Agreed with follow up poster...depending on year of car (in/out of warranty), that should be addressed fairly quickly.

 

Halogen lights?

 

Yup halogen. I've no doubt Mini will replace (Sept 14 car) but it's a bit disconcerting that it's happening after just 7 months of ownership. Or 7 years.

Jeepers! Get that to the dealer right away! That should definatley not be happening!

 

It looks like plastic film you're supposed to peel off. I had some on thet bottom of a Taylormade driver that I left on by accident for months.

I can try. The reflective quality of the trim makes it difficult for my phone to focus. I would whip out a macro lens I suppose.

 

Happened with our R56 Cooper, dealer quickly replaced the offending parts
