As far as I know, no JCW specific parts are available yet, but production on the JCWs just started this week so it might be a few weeks before we see them.

The JCW **** in that photo IS available from ECS Tuning. Cost is $92.31 and it's in stock according to their website. Here's the link. http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2014-C...20A/ES2734184/

I'm hoping someone makes a powder-coated round ball with the shifter pattern. I've seen them for early Minis. I've had round cue ball style shifter ***** on other cars I've owned. The heft and size is perfect for me.

The JCW F56 shifter is different from the JCW interior package shifter you have linked there.

It has a longer, brushed metal shaft before the leather boot. I missed it at first too, but if you look at the link you sent and the picture above side by side, you'll see it

The F56 JCW's part diagrams are now online, the manual shifters part number is: 25118618524

Would be interesting to see what it turns up looking like, as the digram linked to the part number looks like the pic below...

It is a JCW specific part number though, as when you cross reference it against the rest of the models, that part no is only listed for the F56 JCW.....

Yeah, I know it is different. I should have pointed that out in my post. I thought someone might mainly want the JCW **** (with red accents and red stitching on the boot) since that is the part you mainly see in the F56 Mini and Mini S. I do like the brushed metal shaft that's exposed with the factory JCW shifter. It adds a nice touch.

Replace that chrome with some carbon fiber wrap or something and it could be interesting.

I think you're referring to Whalen I think is the maker of the metal ball style shift *****. I had a gorgeous African burlwood/blackwood **** (and ebrake handle) made by a guy who's no longer on NAM. It had a Whalen adapter to affix it to the shift lever. Pix in my signature. BTW what's that ****/dial with 2 buttons on the left lower dash? And as for those 3 guages on the dash I'd pay extra to NOT have them in my car. Yuck!

Headlights and the front and rear fog light are the buttons.

Luckily the gauges are optional.

Supposedly, if you do spec the HUD with the JCW though, you'll also get a rev counter and gear indicator as a displayable option in the HUD.

Looks great, not out yet here in the US yet , but it should not be that much longer the UK is usually a couple months or sometimes weeks before US release of the part.

We will let you know.
