I'm hoping to order a Mini by the end of the year, trying to figure out some deciding factors. What is the MPG on the 2015 Hardtop S? It isn't listed on the configurator & I've tried searching. Sorry if this has been asked before! Thanks for your help

Search for "2015 MINI Cooper S (3-doors)" in your browser.

Also, there was a thread discussing what people are getting in real world.

 

The thread with the EPA numbers was a good 9-10 pages back, so probably wouldn't have found it without digging pretty deep, but the numbers are (city/highway/combined):

2015 F56S Automatic: 26/33/29
2015 F56S Manual: 24/34/27

In my '15 F56S Auto, I traveled to Sonoma Co. and enjoyed the many backroads. Lots of hills. My MPG was 36.04, gas used divided by miles, higher on the computer.
The F56S gets great mileage. It is slightly better than my '12 R56S manual..

 

My mpg' have been great so far! I've got almost 3,000 miles on my 2015 S automatic, my total average over those miles is 29.7. Keep in mind traffic is awful here and I'm usually sitting in traffic, and when I'm not lets just say I don't drive it like a granny. To test it one night I went out on I-285 (65 mile loop road around Atlanta metro), cruise set at 55 with the AC off the entire time and about 50 degrees outside, over that 65ish miles I averaged 46.2 mpg!

Averaging around 30 mpg in mine. 6 spd manual. About to take my first long trip in it. Nashville to Fort Myers Florida.

 

Mine is averaging 30mpg after 4 fill-ups. That's all city with no interstate yet.

 

Like anything, it depends on your speed. I get around 32 average, live in an area where I do a lot of highway driving to get around my area and to work. Probably 75% highway 25% city. I don't think I've ever used green mode for more than 10 seconds. I tend to keep it in sport 99% of the time.

If I'm doing 75 on the highway I get 30ish if I'm at 55 or 60 its closer to 40
