F55/F56 Better in the Snow than the R50
Better in the Snow than the R50
I've been driving in light snow with my all-season runflats for the last two weeks, waiting for my winter tires, and I can say that the car is significantly better in the snow than my R50 was with all-season tires.
I even managed to get it sliding the other day and quickly pulled it straight.
I haven't been in anything deep yet.

Same experience for me with all-seasons on my 2015 F56 vs. my 2007 R56, including a lack of driving in anything more than 4" of fresh snow for the new car. But the difference is like night and day (the R56 without dedicated snow tires bordered on unsafe at any speed).
I live in WI, so of course we get a ton of snow. Today we are suppose to get 7 inches which is the most this year so far. I drove last week in about 2 inches and it was amazing how my car was able to handle the snow with my blizzak snow tires. It really handled like a little tank and had no issues what so ever. We will see how it can take 7 inches today.
