Happening intermittently. While speaking to someone the phone's bluetooth connection with the car is lost. Anyone else experiencing this?

iPhone 5s. ios 8.01

 

iOS 8 includes a new feature to disguise the physical MAC address of the device. This has been causing problems since iOS 8.01 was released. Luckily, they have released an update to correct this. Updating your phone to iOS 8.1 should correct this issue. Hope that helps!

 

I have an antique 4s iphone that cuts in and out on on Pandora on a 2015 MCS with the Mini Conneted. The software on the phone is iOS 7.1.2 and is listed as current in settings. Any ideas on why pandoora would cut in and out.

 

Hmmm you are using the USB to 30Pin Apple cable plugged directly into the car? Do you have to hit play again to start the music after it has stopped?

 

I am using bluetooth for the connection. The connection cuts out and then restarts after a moment of silence. No action required to reconnect

 

I hooked up the USB port to the same phone for the first time and pandora performed without interruption

 

Ok updated to iOS 8.1. So far so good.

 

So not having issues with maintaining a Bluetooth connection; however, is there any new input or feedback as far as getting the correct track and album artwork to show on the display? It would be a nice touch if it worked so I am using the split screen at all times with navigation on the left and minimalism on the right because it drives me nuts when it doesn't match up...
