Rear bumper protection

When you access the rear hatch the top of the rear bumper is very easily subject to abrasion as the hatch is loaded.
Are there protecting attachments on the market?

I use a smallish felt type blanket which I lay on the flat floor of the trunk area. the outer edge of it is folded in, so when I'm ready to load something, I flip it open, and it lays over the lip and on top of the rear bumper. When I'm done, I refold it in. Easy and cheap.

But I know there are generic protective films and other similar remedies available for bumber protection, just not aware of any MINI specific ones.

I have 3M Paint Protection Film on the top (and face) of the rear bumper on my 2002 MCS.

Mini sells one on their site. I had it installed on mine. Picture does not explain much but it's just a clear film that covers the top of the bumper and part-way down the back. http://www.shopminiusa.com/PRODUCT/4...PER-PROTECTION

Per Mini:
This part is not available for the vehicle (2014 MCS hardtop) you selected. Please change the model details or select another category to see products for your selected vehicle.

My bad, didn't realize there were model restrictions.

Yea that's for the Clubman :

MINI Rear Upper Bumper Protection Kit 51140435870 Clear film.

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/51140435870/

There is one for the R56 also. Which with a little work could fit the F56, its clear and could be cut to fit. The general design are close enough, could work. There is nothing for the F56 as of yet.

51140418311 R56 Models Hardtop

And Clear R56 Hardtop

Thanks

I ordered a roll of 3M "Bra" Tape that I will apply on the top of the rear bumper. I have owned the car for 4 days and I have already scratched the top of the bumper unloading stuff. I have used this type of tape before and it is very easy to use on flat surfaces and can be used on curved surfaces with a little more difficulty.
