Dark Silver interior trim/dash - feedback?

Hi all!

Can anyone with the silver trim tell me a bit about your interior and if you ended up loving the trim? Is it very shiny? How does it compare to the chrome accents?

I'm trying to figure out my custom-order interior and would love feedback. The exterior of my mini will be deep blue with white roof, mirrors, and bonnet stripes. I'm getting a sports package, so -- LED headlights, white turn signals, and sport seats. I'm accessorizing with white rear view mirror cap and Union Jack door sills

For the interior, I am leaning towards carbon black sports seats with an anthracite headliner. I love the way the anthracite HL feels and I think it makes the interior a little extra special. I have been torn on it for a while, though, because I'm worried about an all black interior being too dark, especially since I feel the "deep blue" is a little darker than I prefer (but still very pretty so I'm set on that for the exterior).

To "lift" an all black interior, I could add chrome accents and was wondering about adding the Dark Silver dash, too. I haven't seen it in person, though. I don't want my interior to be too "bling"...

Alternatively, I'm thinking of losing the anthracite HL-- the standard might make things lighter/more airy, and be a better contrast for the deep blue. Not sure. I'd go for satellite gray lounge seats if I had the budget for it, or if I weren't worried about the light leather getting dirty.

Anyway, I digress. Thanks for any thoughts you can share about the silver trim!! Or any feedback in general that might help me choose my interior

What about the "Off White" interior? I think it looks particularly great with vehicles that have white roof/mirror caps.

I saw the off white in person and wasn't a fan of the plastic-like finish. It was my original choice based on what I saw on the online "configurator"... I agree the color matches the roof and mirrors nicely

I went for the anthracite headliner because the standard isn't quite gray and it isn't quite tan. Plus, the black hides dirt very well.

I went for the Dark Cottonwood with Satellite Gray seats and trim. Frankly, I think it looks fantastic but the gray seats get dirty easily. I started keeping leather cleaner in my trunk at all times just so I can get rid of the marks from jeans and other fabrics.

I think this combination is just stunning. I hope you don't mind, I looked at your profile to see if you had pics, and came across this helpful thread of yours:

I've always loved the Satellite Gray (and the great "pop" they give to a deep blue exterior). Thanks for your heads up about how easily they get dirty, also a concern of mine. I'm asking myself, how do I feel about conditioning the seats and keeping cleaner in my car? Might be worth it. But I'd also have to make some adjustments to my specs to fit the pricier seats into my budget.

All this said, I'm still interested in the all black interior with the Dark Silver trim ... looking forward to more insight from the forum

I've got the anthracite head liner, carbon black interior with the dark silver dash and I think it looks really good. The dark silver dash is sort of a matte finish and not very "bling" at all. It's a classy look vs a sporty look if that is what you are going for.

I went with the Exterior Deep Blue with Black Roof, Black Bonnet Strip and Black Wheels. Interior Sport Seats with Diamond Carbon Black, Anthracite Headliner, Dark Cotton Wood Dash, and Shadow Gray Color line. However, I do not have my car yet because of EPA hold up

pictures usually do not render well. have seen it and its a nice silver, its not flashy and lighten the cabin. am not a fan of silver trim usually but goes well with red or chocolate interior for example. as for the headliner,it is true that the cabin gets very dark but and the trim itself will not solve that. matter of taste.

Thanks for the pics. I have ordered dark silver myself, with the JCW Interior Package and the black pearl seats.
