MPG on F56s with auto

I will be replacing my '12 R56S manual with a F56s auto. I have been very happy with my current car's mpg. Worst tank 29mpg. 35.1 mpg on my 3500 mile trip which included MTTS from Sacramento to Lubbock.
After years ( 62yo) of manuals, I have finally broke down and tried the auto in the new "s" and really liked it. The torque in the s works very well with the auto.
What mpg have any of you guys with a F56s autos experienced, city or trip?

I have a 14 Auto that I drive pretty exclusively in mid mode. I live in the Denver area and it s a fair mix of streets and highway. I get high 30s somewhere around 37ish if I had to average.

I have now 2000 miles on my auto MCS and it's been constantly getting 37 mpg average in daily commute in Los Angeles traffic in mid power mode, way better than expected.

Green mode hwy: 41 MPG long trips, highest it got was 42!
Mid mode city: 30-37 MPG depending on how I am driving

I drove to road america for autocross yesterday in sport mode (beat the crap out of my car) still averaged 37 MPG.

Those are amazing numbers for an S model Mini. I had a 2007 MCS and would average 29-30 in town. Best highway trip was 34 not using AC. My new JCW gets about 24 in town, but I am not trying to save gas LOL.

That's what I said when I was seeing those numbers on the dash of my MCS!

I don't even try to save gas nor try to waste, just driving normally with A/C on when hot in the mid-mode 99% of time. If I really wanted to save gas, I would have bought a 3-cyl stick!

the computer was showing 42mpg for our trip the other day in the '14 MCS loaner car. Even after doing a bit of driving around town it was still showing over 39.

I haven't had the chance to calculate it at the pump yet.

I found either the trip computer is off or I don't know how to reset/read it. After 300 miles, my hand calculation came to 37.2MPG between fill ups,
- 1/3 city + 2/3 hwy mileage
- green mode on hwy with speed between 60-65 mph, mid mode in city
- 91 gasoline from 76
- 2 ppl in the car most of time.

1.5L engine.

I think OP is interested in F56S not F56... but good to know for comparison.

200 miles highway trip - 40 mpg (75 - 80 mph and a few sprints of 100+)
around town which is a mix of highway/city streets (60/40), getting 34 mpg.
city streets only 29 mpg.
