Here's the sticker on the bottom of my hatch trim (sorry about the quality)

RocketPig - How did you get the visors off. Exactly!
I've tried using a slot and paper towel to no avail. They don't seem to "pop off" easily.
Did you use a slot from the window side or the seat side?
How big a screw driver did you use and what is the technique?
Thanks!

Ok, I used a wide pocket knife, put it in about 1/8 inch under the inside corner of the small panel. I rotated the knife back and forth carefully till one corner popped up, then worked on the other side. I'm probably being too careful, but I didn't want to leave any marks.

Once the cap pops off, it has a metal clip that pulls free easily. Then rotate the whole arm of the visor toward you to remove it from the roof.

Last bit is disconnecting the wiring for the light. I just used the same pocket knife to pop the catch on the connector, came out really easily.

Hope that helps! I tried to get pictures of it when I did it. I couldn't get a clear enough photo to post.

Thanks! OK got them off. No problem. The piece that mounts to the liner is in 2 parts as you have explained. The smaller piece holds the spring clip from letting go.
Pulled the labels. They are still slightly shiny where the labels were. You could tell they were there. I used 70% rubbing alcohol. The labels came off easily as you said.
I think these are stamped on using heat. I doubt you can make them invisible. The cheap plastic "fabric" has been altered by the heat. I regular use you probably will not tell they were there I would say.
Mine are black too BTW.
Thanks for the post. I have wrecked several visors in the past trying to remove the stupid labels!

Heat treated is my guess too. Mine ended up looking pretty spotless, maybe some visors are heat treated longer than others. Another possibility is sometimes the vinyl absorbs the alcohol and swells a bit. This will usually go away within a couple hours.

Glad it worked out for you!

I wonder if you have to have the labels on when you sell the car! Gulp! That's a way off either way!

I seriously doubt it. The labels are a Government requirement on the Manufacturer. You are neither so you should be in the clear... like those fabric tags on furniture

Followed your lead and it worked flawlessly. Placed a huge old dictionary on the visors to press the towel soaked in alcohol onto the visor for about 20 minutes, peeled right off!

Just did this- it's awesome. Left a soaked towel on there for about 20 minutes.

I just looked at my visors and don't see any clip. Of course they pop right off on one end, but what about the end with the "elbow" attachment - is that where the clip is? If so, where/how? (Duh on my part). Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's the clip he means. You don't have to do anything to it- it just keeps the plastic parts firmly in place. Snaps in, snaps out.

Blew a fuse on this one

The basic directions worked for me as well: used 70% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, let the visors soak with it a bit longer (stickers fought me a bit at 20 minutes, so I let them go until 40 minutes, and each slowly came off in one piece), and finished with a coating of ArmorAll. Can't even tell they were there.

After I put everything back together, not only were the visor lights not working, but neither were the map lights, and I couldn't change the color on the LED interior lights any more. Found that one of the 5A fuses blew...probably when I was wrestling to disconnect the electrical connector for one of the visors (one popped of easily, the other did not). Replaced the fuse and everything's back to normal.

Considered putting this Warning Label from StuckonMinis.com back on the passenger side:

I never paid much attention to mine, either. But now...........darn, I SEE them. LOL. The alcohol removal method really does a nice, clean job though. Looks good.

Isn't this the type of situation where someone makes a comment about "too much time on your hands?" I wonder if there could possibly be a problem selling a car with warning labels removed.

I don't agree. These labels are and look like an afterthought. They are the wrong color....maybe if they were round and red and black.....:-)

Exact same wording and colors on the labels in our '14 Mazda CX-5 except the Mazda's are only in English. Meant to get attention rather than be color coordinated because of the fear that some jerks will sue because of the air bags or where the child seat is installed -- people do love to sue.

The sun visor labels are far less annoying than the three decals posted on the front windshield. Now that would really bug me and distract me from driving, not the sun visor labels.
