How do you know if a MCS has active distance sensing cruise control?

And how does it work? How do you operate it?
Thanks!

Go to youtube and search for adaptive cruise control. Note sure about Mini but lots of Volvo reviews/ads have detail explanation. BTW, Mini 2014 US model doesn't have that feature. Not sure 2015 model.

Supposedly a euro item only right now.... Was supposed to be part of the us package from press releases a year or so ago...
If you car slows down when you get too close to another car to match its speed...you have it...

Depends, if you have a US spec car, you most likely don't have it, was not available for 2014 on anything I've seen recently.

Its part of the Driver's Assist Package, which requires almost every single option selected and then the $1000 Driver Assist option on top of it all.

Wasn't available for 2014 Model year for US/NA spec cars, just recently showed up on 2015.

As for operating it, check the manual, there's about 25 pages devoted to it.

You can be like Ron Burgundy and play cards in the back of the motorhome with it on.

If you don't have it and you gain on the car ahead of you, zip around him. That's why you bought an MCS.

You know you have it by the cruise control distance buttons. To the right of the cruise control on the steering wheel, there would be 2 extra buttons that set the cruise distance.

You would also have an extra button next to the hazard light button.
