Just curious if it's cheap feeling ala the MINI yours off-white or nice like the piano black. Also is it shiny or matte? Does it have texture or smooth?

Wait, the off-white is cheap looking/feeling? I was planning on getting that in my justa when I order later this year..... They didn't have any F56's with the off white at my dealer a week ago when I looked at them.

Yeah, I was bummed too. I saw Steve's video review - he has it in his S - and mentioned it felt cheap. I recommend watching that. Then when I was at the dealer on Monday, they had one with it and kind of confirmed his observations - it isn't what I expected. I would advise checking in person first. It's more the dash and the lower part on the center console. The door bezels and rings seem fine. It just doesn't feel as high quality as some of the other trims (piano black was the only other I saw). It also has this weird short stripe pattern embedded in the dash that I didn't really care for either.

Well I'm not exactly a dash-stroker so it should be fine. Hopefully they'll have one at my dealer next time I visit. I would assume all of them are made of the same materials and they're just different finishes so quality should be the same. A hazy/ matte finish will probably always look cheaper than a gloss one anyway

Ha, I know right? I like the off-white, but it's almost too much white due to the center console lower piece being white and the rings. They do not appear to all be the same though as the piano black felt much nicer, but a fingerprint magnet.

I'm still confused on what exactly the hazy grey dash looks like. In another thread, someone said the hazy grey and dark silver where mixed in the brochure vs. the configurator. If it is this way, I'd prefer it - especially as it's standard ha. I'm just curious if the door bezels are really still in piano black like in the configurator as the R56 did not if you got the standard grey dash.

Still curious if anyone knows what the hazy grey really looks like. Also curious if you still get the door bezels or if they are plain.

Is that confirmed to be hazy grey and not dark silver? I know there was a mix-up so just trying to make sure. Anyone know if the door bezels still get the plastic cover (like the off-white, piano black, etc.) or are they just missing?

I found these photos on dealership sites of cars delivered. They are the standard trim of the HT. I did see a pic of no door trim with these standard trim. Standard trim is Hazy Gray.

And Minis Configurator is wrong. I called to bring this to their attention last week.

If you want you can go to Niello Mini website and check out some of their base coopers. They list options under Features tab. You are correct in regards to no door trim. On their site it shows it in black and white door material. I did not know that. Hazy gray abound at that dealership!!! :-)

Ah thanks! Yeah I figured it was like the R56 where you have to either select a dash or MINI Yours to get the door trim too. Still unsure if the lighting in the doors is only with MINI Yours trim...

If you go to the Motorfile review of the base Mini they have closeups of the dash and in some of the shots you get a close up of the hazy grey. I was just on it.

Finally saw it in at the dealer. I actually like the colour, but it's the same texture/style as the off-white. More matte than glossy with glossy strips. Also, you don't get the plastic trim on the door bezels. It's just naked. I like it better than off-white for some reason even though it's that same cheaper-feeling plastic.

Pic of dark silver

Finally! Saw and snapped a pic of dark silver that looks true to what it actually looks like in reality. Much darker than what I have seen in pics and lighter than the MINI config.

Looks good. Like the Matte finish.
