Dynamic Damper Control diference?

My new car (should be here this weekend) has the ddc and I was curious to anyone who has this option, exactly how noticeable is it? I know it is supposed to tighten the suspension by 10% but does it make that much of a difference?

Thanks.

Haven't really been able to notice much on the sport mode side as I have been commuting mostly in mid or green. It does seems to soften up in green vs. mid. I'll know more about sport mode behavior after the upcoming weekend.

Make sure it is activated, under Sport configuration, set both drivetrain and chassis to "on".

I went back for my second test drive yesterday and it is definitely noticeable. How much is hard to quantify, but I was driving on some pretty rough and potholed Michigan roads and switched primarily between Sport and Normal on an MCS. Normal smoothed out the terrain (relatively here... still no comfort sedan) and Sport let you feel everything. I didn't test it the modes for cornering.

That said, it sold me on wanting to add DDC to my new car. At a minimum, it gives a bit more flexibility on how to tune your car on a daily basis based on where you are driving. Nice feature as this will be a daily driver for me.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to messing around with it.

I have that on my car...
When you switch on sport mode with just DDC enabled it is really not that noticeable IMO. There is a spread between Green and Sport but not much between Normal and Sport. When you check everything in the software the steering tightens (like with the F56) and the accelerator is more aggressive so that kind of confuses the whole DDC thing - That what most people are feeling I think when they talk about a big difference.

When I test drove the new MCS it didn't make much of a difference and so I ordered sports suspension. I felt body roll and the car squatting under full acceleration. Mini is certainly softening up there cars!

If I had my time again that would be one of the changes I would make.

Are you able to adjust how much of that 10% you want to use say in Sport Mode? I was under the impression you were.
