F55/F56 What Is Your Actual Gas Mileage So Far?

Green mode shouldn't do anything at cruising speed. It's my understanding that Green mode changes the shift points, softens the throttle response and decouples the transaxle when coasting. If you're just cruising at a steady speed, the engine is going to turn at the same RPM no matter what mode you're in.

I don't know if this is true on Mini's but other makers "Eco" or "Green" mode also means that the way A/C and other power functions in the car are managed differently as well. The one's you mentioned will have the greatest impact, but I would expect Green mode would also take into account some of these other opportunities.
that's actually calculated... 80% highway... green mode always on the highway (38 miles each direction on hwy 280 on the SF peninsula averaging 75mph - very little stop/go)

I've been getting around 27-28 to work and back mainly and that'd be mostly city driving with a few of 60-70mph stretches. Sometimes in green mode sometimes in sport. Only about 2-5 mpg better than the 2007 R56 MCS. The OBC is about 1-2 mpg high, just like on the R56.
Tomorrow though I'll have a sustained highway trip for the first time and do plan on tracking it and reporting back, starting with a full tank. And luggage and two plus-sized adults.

My F56 Cooper S is supposed to get 38 highway and my last road trip was a 350 mile trip and I got 40 mpg. I doubt that's normal but yeah like yours I'm glad it was able to do better than the sticker. 36 is great!
Thought I'd add some more real world data to the mix, maybe we can compare with the EPA's new numbers. This is for the second tank, about 80% highway, green mode on highway, mid/sport in city.

Just returned from a 1100 mile road trip to Portland from Vancouver, Canada. Two days of 5-6 hours interstate speeds, slower stop-go in the city and traffic infested Oregon coastal driving.
38.3 mpg in a brand new Cooper. Very pleased with that!

2014 Cooper S
Auto w/paddle shifters
Around town (mix of highway / suburbs / etc) getting 34.2 regularly.
200 mile roadtrip on mostly highways I got 39.8 MPG.
I'm in Mid mode 75% of the time, sport mode 25% of the time. Never in green mode.

34.5 mpg avg for me. I have been running in green mode, staying between 68 to 75 mph on the commute. I have a slightly bent front wheel so I'm not going fast until I get it replaced due to the vibration. Unfortunately, this is why I'm seeing such good mpg. As soon as I get my wheel replaced, I'm looking forward to 26 mpg avg. LOL!!
2014 MC 1.5 L 6 speed manual
I've put ~5,100 miles on my MINI since picking it up July 17. I've been driving in the mountains and on the highways of Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, and Montana. I've been primarily in mid mode, with some sport and green. Very little of the driving has been city driving.
I've been using 91 octane gas, the highest available. My mpg averages are: 41.6, 40.1, 36.6, 39.2, 41.3, 39.2, 40.1, 38.8, 40.2, 38.2, 43.2, 40.5, 40.0, 37.7
A couple of notes: I've crossed quite a few mountain passes from 8,000 to 12,000 feet. That 1.5 L pulls beautifully in those hills.
A number of interstates around here have 80 mph speed limits. The car is very comfortable with cruise control set at 80 or 90.
I drove on the Bonneville Salt Flats in western Utah with the idea of seeing how fast the MINI would go. I was happy to not find exactly where to drive and too chicken to search very hard :-(

I haven't looked at the car stats but will take a look.
36.8 calculated 6011 miles, MCS, 6-spd man, 60-40 highway city, 50% green, 30% sport, 20% normal. One highway trip 39.2, green. Two track days, 25.4 for about 50 miles in sport. Excellent given the performance.
I have a 2014 justa and I'm averaging 22mpg with 300 miles on the odometer. 90% of my driving is LA traffic but surely this is because the engine is still being broken in right? I've been resetting the MPG average every other day or so.
