they have adjustatable rebound and damping so they are comparable to the KW V3. The ST-XTA which does have camber plates is more like the KW Clubsports IIRC.

That's not correct according to ST USA. In calling them yesterday, they stated that ST does not have a comparable unit to the V3. The person stated the XA and XTA are the same as the V2 but the XTA's have camber plates.

You stated you confirmed the XTA's do not have camber plates for the mini?

Man, you always find the goodies! I was doing some google searches today and found a website that had clubsports for the f56, possibly those.

Yeh, they look to be for coilovers with a straight spring set up - which my V1's certainly don't have!

Maybe those are kw clubsports? I still hadn't found any for f56. I do want adjustable camber up front but i'm not going to put coilovers that expensive on the mini to get it. I'd much rather put some ohlins on my P car lol.

The google converter shows 2700.

I'm sooooooo close to taking the plunge and ordering the XA's from ebay. But, with my luck i'll wait 2 weeks to get them and they won't fit.

Wish ST usa could at least verify the damn part numbers. I think it's ridiculous that their us branch is that disconnected from HQ.

Hopefully they'll sell the camber plates as a separate item.

Figured you'd say that. I keep talking to TunerShop but I can only get one response a day due to the time difference. Today's email from them said "I can confirm this kit comes with camber plates." This after I asked the question about the XTA kit.

May have to pull the trigger today on that kit.

Well, just when I was ready to order.......... I noticed that the part numbers they list for the F56 match those of the R56....... So, had to send another email asking for clarification. Hoping they just had the wrong part number listed for the F56.

I emailed them months back and he confirmed they were for the f56 models. Then again, their English left quite a bit to be desired so maybe asking one more time is the smart play...

I'm working on it from a few angles. Trying with tunershop.com, a wholesaler here in the states and I just emailed KW Germany.

I agree with random, if this kit comes with camber plates and is the right fitment, i'm ordering yesterday.

Cross your fingers.....

Getting accurate, consistent info out of coil over companies seems to be almost possible. I'm very excited about those camber plates though. I'd pay good money for those.

Hey there, just wondering if you found any new info on the ST - XTA's?

I'm wondering if they have indents like the KW's so spacers are not needed and if they come with camber plates.

Thanks!

Not really. I asked if they had the indent and was told they are manufactured by KW so they are similar. Not exactly confirmation.

I received a response from them this morning regarding the part numbers. They said their website configurator will guide me to the correct coilovers, independent of part numbers... Whatever the hell that means.

They did not address my concern of the same part number being listed for the F56 and R56.

If I'm gonna run stock 18's (fJCW) with 215's and BC Coilovers, what's the ideal sized spacer (5, 6, or 12mm)? I'm leaning towards the 12mm's to get the flush look.....just don't want any rubbing issues.

Thanks

Ok, thanks for the update. How frustrating!

Well, good luck and keep us posted.

So, are the KW's a higher quality version of the ST's?
I do like knowing that I wouldn't have to worry about spacers since they have the indents, just don't like the price tag

KW are the better coilovers when compared to ST or Weitec or AP (all made by KW)

They have the Inox coating on the bodies and threads, which prevents corrosion.

AFAIK, the ST coilovers and not correctly listed, as has been said the part no's are for the R56. My friend has a KW account, and a few months ago he told me that info. He is in Australia at the moment or I would ask him again for you.

I have KW's and they are excellent.

The bad news is that after speaking with KW, the camber plates I posted are for Clubsport only as they have had to make the threads on top of the body longer for use with camber plates.

What's the size/offset on the stock JCW wheels?
