MINI gods are messing with me

The MINI gods are messing with me. My MCS has been delayed due to the contrasting top. Okay, that's all well and good. But....
What do I see when I pull out of my driveway? My neighbor about 5 doors down has a new MCS sitting in his driveway. Curse him!! Lol. Okay, happy for him, but I had to chuckle.

I had two delays with mine (April 15th Launch Day and the oil filter housing replacement). Car was at my dealership on March 24th and I had to wait until April 17th to take delivery. The wait was hard, but now that my MINI S is in my garage it was WELL worth the pain. LOL.

Unless your neighbor ordered one on the same day I wouldn't say the Mini gods are messing with you, hehe . I know your pain, I am awaiting mine on order as well and the wait is grueling. For no apparent reason mine has been waiting to be "assigned" to a boat for over two weeks now. I would agree with Bob though that ultimately it will be worth it.

Good to hear neither of you were scared from the wait. I keep telling myself that the delay gives me more time for a down payment

Indeed I just keep telling myself it will be worth it as there is also something cool (in my mind at least) about getting a car that was built specifically for me. Guess I drank a bit too much of the "you-ification" kool-aid, hehe.

My Mini S is finished after just two weeks since the April 12th order.
This according to the MA
Moonwalker grey solid.
Now awaiting vessel assignment also.
Will be delivered to :
Port Hueneme , a small beach city in Ventura County,
sixty miles north of L.A. CA.
This is cheaper than delivering to LA Harbor.
My home is 50 miles south of Los Angeles.
I hope they don't drive it here

For me MOL says it's at the dealer, the hotline says in transit. I'll be a patient person and call Tuesday. :-)

You need your Production Number, the thing you would have used to sign up for the Owner's Lounge.

Edit: 866, not 800! Oops!

I called the automated thing again, but I think I may wait longer before calling. If it were there today I don't have time to get it and if it's not there, I can't make it go faster.
