2014 - no driving lights?

Hello - I am a happy countryman owner but my friend is trying to order a new model R56 and has been having a hard time of it. Her SA told her no driving lights for 2014 and she can't order them since they won't be able to install them at the port (as they did mine).

Can anyone shed some light. Is this true? Is the SA just being difficult? Any advice would be appreciated.

They should be available as a (dealer-installed?) accessory soon...see my recent post on the MINI Individual Program...if you follow the link, a MINI in one of the pics has the driving lights.

Are these the ones your friend interested in? I think they will be available later this year

If you mean F56, this one came into our work with them... so they should be able to get them?

î î I just wish they are a tad bigger, and hopefully available soon from parts dept. I don't remember seeing it as an option when i configured my car.

The extra lights have always been a dealer-fit item and they are listed for the F56 in RealOEM:

Item 4 is an interface for cars with LED headlights.

If I remember correctly, I paid close to $600.00 for the lights and all hardware.
And the $400.00 to install them.
This was on a '14 fJCW Clubman that I ordered.
Dealer installed, not factory or at the port.
Maybe you can get your local dealer to move on the prices!

There's a pic of an all black F56 in a California dealership showroom with driving lights. It's on a different thread on this forum. I imagine the price is on the window sticker but you can't see that.

The way I ordered my car was this item is a dealer addon
I believe it was priced in the Configurator on the web site.
This MAY still show up IF you build a clubman as they are still in production till June.
Anyway, they price didn't include installation.
So, and I'll double check my papers later tonight, but $1000.00 total
Kinda like the strut bar, hood stripes, all dealer addons with install prices!

Does anyone have the part item number for driving lights? Dealing is telling me they "don't exist" on build your own cars - only on already installed cars 2014 on dealer lot. Does this sound nuts to anyone else?

Dealer is not informed. It's under accessories:

Mine came from the factory with them, so yes, that sounds nuts!

Driving lights are listed as a retrofit item on the parts list:

Driving lights have always been dealer add-ons, not factory-installed, in the past.
