Armrest

Has anyone ordered the armrest? I did as part of a package...but if it is anything like the r56 one I will remove it as mine is a manual transmission.
It has some sort of charger port for a phone. Probably and iPhone but I use an android and really never charge my phone in the car. Maybe there is an adapter for other phones.
Anyone have any info on this?

I ordered the armrest but don't know much about it. I cannot drive without an armrest because I like to, well, rest my arm most of the time. LOL. It would seem likely that there are/will be adapters for phones other than the iPhone.

Gregory,

As you said it is according to the options one chooses.

It ended up for me to be part of a package as well.

I was going to order it anyway.

I think it's possible to charge different phones in it not just iPhone but the adapter pieces are pricey. I never charge my phone in the car either but if I did I wouldn't do it with that piece. There isn't much room in it for stuff, I just rest my arm on it and I have the stick. I think if you get the Bluetooth phone option (I don't use that anymore either) you have to have it.

The armrest in the F56 is much larger than the one on the R56. I would say it is more than double the size. Much more functional and better looking too.

Thanks for the New information on it.

I wanted it as that does give me a place to rest my right arm.

Now that I know it is like twice the size of the one I now have I really am glad I made the decision to get it.
