I'm pretty sure my fuel pump is going out. I stalled out 2 days ago and the car threw 2 codes, P0087 and P 2414, later it started up and I made it about a mile before it stalled again. Its cranking over but not getting fuel. After I got home from work I pulled the backseat out and poked around the fuel pump panel. I didnt remove it but when I went to start it, it threw 2 more codes. P0087 and P15DF, this leads me to believe the pump is failing or there was some sort of debris in the line that was able to clear. I am not driving it around though as the local tow service wanted over $200 to pick it up and deliver less than the mile back to my house.
One question I have is about which pump to buy, looking on Partsgeek.com there are 3 different ones available at 3 different prices, all say they fit the 14 MCS and all cheaper than the OEM.
Anyone have experience with APA/URO Parts, VOD, or Airtex pumps?

I believe it might be the High Pressure Pump, not the tank one.

Ok, so I had to go to the dealer to get the correct fuel sending unit with the O- Ring, about $400. Replaced that, jumped off the car and had it running for 2 or 3 hours, no issues. Went for road test and the same issue comes up. basically stalls out and wont restart. pull the cover panel off the pump, cant hear it priming. Check fuses, get my wife to come out with my truck and jump it off again as it had drained again trying to restart. About 2 hours later after searching for blown fuses, and the fuel pump relay,(still no idea where that is) I try to restart it. It fires up, I throw everything into the car and close the hood and proceed to haul *** back to the house. I am back to square one. I am pretty sure this is an issue with a relay and I just dropped $400 on a new sending unit for no reason. Where is the relay? Why is there no Chilton for this car? Why is everything such a massive headache?

Reinstall the old module, see if it goes away.

 

put the old one back on. Got this as well now.
