Maintenance Minder

Last Wednesday at startup display said +6,000 3/2015 for next maintenance. Friday morning said +5,000 3/2015. Monday morning +4,900 3/2015.

Problem is last Wednesday I was at 6,700 miles. Under vehicle settings, checking for needed maintenance, it says nothing needed.

Because you still have approximately 4900 miles to go before it thinks you need maintenance?

+4700 miles means you need service after 4700 more miles. Should be around 10000 that it's counting down to.

In case anyone is interested in resetting the condition based service (CBS), this reset procedure might come handy after the initial No-Cost-Maintenance™ is over.

My CBS for oil change now shows +9000 miles OR 12 months from manufacture date. I still have less than 500 miles on the car. It's definitely from short trips.
