F54 all4 sports cat

Hey all, I’ve been upgrading my 2017 clubman s all4 and I’m ready to pull the trigger on a sports cat. For reference, the only other performance upgrade I’ve done is a Remus cat back exhaust.

Has anyone done this upgrade? Which one would you all recommend? I am looking for deeper sound along with added hp.

Also, is it true I will have to disconnect the front drivetrain to replace the cat? According to this product, it is recommended https://www.urotuning.com/products/evolution-racewerks-200-cel-catted-downpipe-bmw-mini-b46-x1-x2-mi-exh001tbcat#collapse-tab4

Yes, with the All4 system and transfer case in the way, there is no easy way to get the down pipe out and in.

Yep, they come with a welded one piece for most aftermarket. ER comes in catted and they have a clamp. ER Catlless (which we dont sell) comes welded from them.

While the two piece down pipe will be easier to get into the car, you still have to deal with getting the OEM out of the car. With the All4 system in the way, I’ve not seen how to do the removal without removing something big or cutting the OEM pipe out. Either way, it’s not going to be a simple job.

I was planning to cut out the OEM pipe. So in this case, how hard is it to cut out?

Not sure, but it is pretty tight down there….

I feel like if you’re going to do it, you’re going to have to be fully committed to the task. No turning back after you start cutting stuff.
