Drivetrain whats the difference between sports cat and de cat?

whats the difference between sports cat and de cat?
i have recently bought a sports cat but for some reason i believe its a de cat.
how can you tell which one is which?

A sports cat will be a higher flowing cat. A de cat is not a cat at all, it basically means removed cat. If what you purchased has no honeycomb material inside then its not a cat at all.

ive got an all in one..manifold and whats ment to be a sports cat. but when i look through it, it appears to have no honeycombe bit.. does that mean its a de cat?

just means i have to wait even longer to fit my exhaust system :(
