Your Clubman is a 2019 I think? Did your car come with adaptive cruise control? Kind of curious what the full retrofit experience is like for such things. My car came with standard cruise control (not adaptive). But we now have a second car with adaptive, and it's kind of a neat feature. Just not sure what MINI/BMW requirements are. The other car (Ford) has a front-facing radar to implement the system.

 

Yes, my car is 2019/1 with 541 ACC stop and go function . This car has 5AS so I can retrofit to 541.

 

Cool. Yeah I will have to research how to do it. My car has 5AS (Driving Assistant), 544 (Cruise Control with Brake Function). Might need to learn what is required for 541.

I had not heard of this Bimmer8 company before, any chance you played with their "Smart Comfortable Module"? Just having the honk on lock would be awfully nice to me, such a strange thing that MINI does not do this by default.

 

Mine is working great! I just cannot get rid of the ACC error which pops up when starting the car. It only is for 2 seconds but after it works perfectly, car steers it selves and comes to full stop and go!
