I recently installed a front and rear dash-cam in a 2017 Mini F54 Clubman (JCW). I posted a video of the process in case anybody also want to do the same.

hi thanks for the vid. the guy helping me install a rear cam can't figure out how to get the wire from the trunk area to the rear swing door (where you mount the cam). this happens to be where your footage cuts out - any tips?

 

I put a magnet under the roof liner and stuck the camera on there to avoid rear door shenanigans. Worked very well.

 

@pfcstuck In your video at 22:14 you show the trunk area side bin removed from the felt wall. I took the remaining clip out, but can figure out how to remove the plastic pocket. Any tips?

 

Did you have to use a magnet on the camera and one on the headliner in the rear? How's it been working. I assume it sits a few inches back from the glass
