Just purchased a 2022 Clubman JCW Iconic trim and there was not a cargo cover included. Anyone know if these come standard equipment or if they need to be specifically ordered when the car is initially ordered by the dealer?

anybody?? doesn't need to be a '22 owner. I assume it would be the same for a MY '20 or '21.

Birrclan- If you have the Iconic trim level, your MINI comes with the 'window shade' cargo cover. Contact your selling dealer asap... they may have just neglected to install when they prepared your MINI for delivery. Enjoy your new ride!

 

One of our Mini's is a 2021 JCW Clubman, and like yours, it's Iconic trim. Yes, it has a 'window shade' cargo cover as Landspeeder described.

 

thanks for your response-the dealer is telling me that the cover only comes if it is initially ordered with the vehicle as an extra cost option. would you still have a copy of your window sticker? if so, I'm curious if it shows the cargo cover listed. it's really strange to me that an item like this has to be ordered seperately, especially at this trim level. any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

 

No that sliding cover for the trunk should be included. Sounds like they are full of it.

I do have a copy of my window sticker but, unfortunately, it doesn't list any detail regarding the cargo cover. The closest it comes is that it lists "Storage package" under Iconic trim. (And as I mentioned above, my car did come with the 'window shade' cover.) So, I tend to agree with the other posters who think it's included.

On the other hand, when I 'built' my 2021 Clubman JCW Iconic, it indicated that the Storage package included 4 lashing points in the boot for a cargo net or something similar. But there are none !....and the best info I could obtain is that Mini deleted them. Also, in an effort to double-check that, I inquired if there was a cargo net accessory available for the 2021 and was told there was not.

 

I also have a 2022 Clubman JCW Iconic, and it did indeed come with the cargo cover as standard equipment.
