2020 Clubman S performance upgrades?

My dealer tells me there are no performance upgrades I can get for my 2020 clubman that wouldn't void my warranty, such as official Mini JCW exhaust/intake etc. Apparently it takes time for those add-ons to become available for each model year? Is there in fact anything on the market now that won't affect warranty, and if not how can I find out when those things will be available?

If you are looking for more power a tune is the only thing to give a noticeable improvement as a CAI or exhaust hardly make a difference there but they do look and sound nice. Companies like Dinan with their Elite tuner box has their own warranty to cover issues but from a Mini/BMW they wouldn't cover you so your hopes would rest with Dinan in that case. I am not sure what they have as options for re ent model years but it is worth reaching out to them.

Thanks, I'll look into that. Otherwise, if it would cause warranty issues, hopefully the wait for official Mini upgrades isn't too long.

If you are worried about warranty, look into one of the piggy back devices. You can usually get about ~30hp out of them, and if you need warranty work, just unplug it before taking it in.

Looks like even Dinan has nothing but spacers and lug bolts for 2020 still.

I'm running my old Dinan Sport module on my 2020 Clubman S All4. It's the same unit I had on my 2017. Worked great on the 2017 for 3 years. Working fine on my 2020 18 months in, adding just a little extra kick. I've never removed the unit when taking the car to a MINI dealer for service. No issues.

And they are pretty cheap too.

Is there any way for them to know by checked via computer to see if it has been hooked up though?
