Which Rims to go with!!

Decisions decisions!! Help)) idk which would look the best while getting the most for my $$$ and any suggestion for the best glossy black finish for me to do myself....

18" JCW with 40% tires - WIll need to paint black - can get it for $500-600

18" Countryman Rims with runflats - will need to black out parts of it...and wants $460

16' Black Rims with new Runflats (a bit small :/) wants $400 - 450

17" Black - No Tires :/ - wants $350 fro all 4

18" Original Mini - will need to paint black. 80% thread and wants $200-250

You can cross off the Countryman wheels, bolt pattern is wrong. (5x112 vs 5x120)

I would go for the JCW 534 wheels

I went with the first ones and had my shop match them to melting silver like my roof.

Depends if you have JCW calipers. The grip spoke 534’s will clear them and Joey B’s clubby looks great with the custom paint.

The last oem 18” (vanity spoke 504’s I believe) with newish tires sounds like a great deal at $250 but will need spacers for clear them I’m sure, and they are pretty unique. Nice shape and profile and the closes design will hide anything unsightly or rusty in the mechanics. The machined look is nice, why black?

i ended up getting those for $150 so it was a steal and it has almost brand new tires! i got them installed for another $60 but no spaces were needed... should i concerned? lol and i figured blacking out all the chrome with rims will look better but seems to be alot of labor so still debating the blackout part.

Great price and they look really nice. The rim width is 7” if they came of an f55. It will have a smaller contact patch but the overall diameter is what you’d look. The rims are 18” but the tires for a clubman are 225 stock (205 for a cooper).

225 would be the widest tires you can put on a 7” wheel. Not sure if they will rub, but spacers should get them out to sit flush. Check out ‘willtheyfit.com’ for the diameters of stock vs.your current set up.’

assuming your stock wheels were 17”, this is what you’re looking at. New 215 or 225 tires would correct that diameter, 7mm-15mm spacers will push it out

in my opinion, you’d be best with wider tires which will give you more sidewall and better grip. Firestone firehawk are quite good and affordable, and the ride without runflats is far superior. Spacer will push them out a bit to finish more flush.
