Has anyone replaced the grab handle on the passenger side with a right side lateral sun visor? Anyone have the part number for the right side? - left and right side don't look to be interchangeable..
I made the change in my '19JCW. I bought the visor and parts from ECS Tuning. I gave up on installing it myself and paid the dealer to install it. I was just afraid that I might break something. Anyway my wife is now a happy camper when she's the passenger.

I did this just yesterday! I did a bunch of research first, the main point being that MINI stopped putting lateral visors in right hand drive cars in 2015 (they just get blanks).
The driver side is slightly shorter toward the front of the visor, but it looked like it would mostly fit on the passenger side, so I took off the driver side one and test fit it on the other side. There is a tiny gap in the front of the visor because it's just a touch long, but honestly no one would ever notice unless you pointed it out.
I ordered another driver side one and installed it and it looks great. The tiny gap makes it easier to grab and flip down, which is a nice bonus.
Mine is just a driver's side visor. It works on the passenger side. BFD if it's not the correct visor. Unless you pointed it out to some **** person, I can't see anyone noticing
the difference. It keeps the sun out of my passenger's eyes and looks fine( like it's a standard part of the car).

For the RH lateral visor you want part 51167376860 for the black version. These RH and LH lateral visors are not the same.
Being in Australia this was for the RH driver side - my side, which has blanker plugs not a grab handle. Otherwise it is the same for the passenger side on a LHD Clubman.
There is a special tool to remove the plugs. I just used two screw drivers and a lot of brute force - dont be scared, there is a large metal clip that you need to dislodge. The photos below outline the process.
1. RH Lateral Sunvisor PN 2. The easy part in removing the plugs. 3. After a lot of effort and brute force you end up with a hole. 4. Note the smaller guide holes for the sunvisor. 5. It just snaps in as you push in the clips. Quite easy 6. It doesnt cover a lot of the window - which is good for the driver. But does make things a lot more comfortable in the summer sun.
Note photo 4 - you cant put it in upside down. Beneath the visor clips there is also small legs that go in the guide holes. I assure it is the correct way for the right hand side. As you can see in photo 5. the curve is flush with the ceiling when flipped up.
The clips are really easy to get out with needle nose pliers. No need for brute force.
Edit: the visor in the pic above is installed upside down. The curve should go the other way.
I assure you, it is the correct way for the right hand side. Note photo 4 - you cant put it in upside down - beneath the visor clips there is also small legs that go in the guide holes; they can only go in one way. As you can see in photo 5. the curve of the visor is flush with the ceiling, when flipped up. Why would you want it to curve out?
I went out and took some pictures, because I don't think words are going to do it.
In this first picture, this is a shot of the factory installed driver side visor. Note how when it's down it curves out toward the outside of the car.
Next picture is with the visor down. Note that the front of the visor is shorter than the rear.
Here is a shot with the visor up. Note how flush the edge is with the roof due to the curve going the other way. It does make it harder to wedge your fingers in there, as there is no gap.
Here's a shot of the passenger (right) side. This is a driver side visor installed on the passenger side. You have to take the visor off the hinges to install it this way so the curve matches the driver's side. Note the longer end is now in the front. The only way to get the shorter end in the front is to install it upside down.
Lastly, here's the right side visor folded up. It fits very snuggly against the roof, though there is a small gap at the front because the front side is too long. Compare to how yours looks, which curves out into the car.
If you like the way yours is now, then keep it that way. It's easier to grab the way you have it and the short side is toward the front of the car like it should be. But compared to how they come from the factory, it's upside down. And hey, you're in Australia, so everything looks upside down from where I am
#1: THERE IS NO RIGHT-SIDE FACTORY VISOR for an F54.
#2: chrunck and ECSTuning listed the part number for the left-side visor from an F54. As seen in chrunck's photos, it can be adapted to work on the right, but it won't end up quite "right".
#3: Eric Avatar used the right-side visor from an F55/F56. It too can be adapted to work, but it's not quite "right" either.
Okay, this thread has been eating at me, so I did a little bit more research. I owe Eric Avatar an apology -- sorry for doubting you.
I'm still pretty certain that no F54 ever came from the factory with a right-side visor.
But the left side visors are the same between all of F54/F55/F56, so it is reasonable to assume that the F55/F56 right side visors will fit F54 just fine, and presumably would always be symmetric with the left side.
Which means that Eric has exactly the correct part for his car. For cars without the panoramic roof, the correct part number is 51167375954.
That's for anthracite. Space gray headliners have different part numbers, which I'll look up when I'm back on a real computer.
