Is it just me or is the lateral sun visor too short?

I feel the sun hit my face every morning and evening. I used to have tints on the front windows, but the police didn't seem to like that.

Is there a way to add an extension to it or replace it with a longer one?

 

I'm wondering this as well. I would first like it to be longer, and then possibly a little taller. I'm 6' but like to sit low, but not too far reclined.

Perhaps this "issue" will be resolved in 2012 models, and we can retro fit them into our cars?

 

I saw the visor mate. It looks like a piece of plastic and a headband . I was looking for a more elegant solution.
