iPhone X wireless charging

Does anyone know if the iPhone X fits in the wireless charging spot in the Clubman?

In the armrest, but you need to have it optioned on the car. If you don't have the touchscreen navigation, you don't have wireless charging.

It sucks that they force you to take an option you don't want so you can get the one you need.

I've had wireless charging on my Galaxy S6 Edge+ for 3 years at home, and it's freaking SLOW. I don't know if there are faster chargers, but it's nowhere near as fast as plugging it in. How's the Mini's charger?

Slow, but NO WIRES!!

Now, what it needs is a feature missing from our MINI iDrives: the reminder to grab the phone, upon leaving the car: out of sight, out of mind.

My GTI has that reminder but since it tells you that every single time you turn the car off while a BT device is detected you quickly learn to ignore it. But it would be a cool reminder in the MINI if it only reminded you while the phone was on the charger.

BMW has this in their version of iDrive. It'd be nice if they added it to MINI, too. It only makes sense to have done so, since Qi charging was added, and it's just an iDrive setting.

YES! I tend not to use my wireless charger because I ALWAYS forget my phone in the armrest.

A good possibility, which I ought to have thought to search for. Thanks for the idea.
