F54 Bimmercode app
Weird. My F54 clubman has always opened on one pull of the door handles, even when locked. (with engine off). At least, the driver's door does. I've not had occasion to try the passenger side.
I thought they had done away with the 2-pull bit. (It always made my mother pull too hard on the handle, and try to break it off.)
edit: I'm not the first owner, though.

onto the coding, unlock with engine off was removed from all F Series BMW's until someone figures it out. it's not just mini's, doesn't work on any BMW. i attempted it on an M3 and M4. neither worked. google search shows this is an across the board issue.
you may be misunderstanding. the car does unlock with 1 pull, not two. this is a better example. i shut off the car, i pull the handle, door opens, i get out, go around to grab something from the passenger side, door locked. if i left the keys in the car, now i have to go back around and either press the unlock button on the door to unlock just the passenger side OR use the remote to unlock the passenger side. this has been an ongoing issue with me. the only solution is to press the unlock button on the door so that when you go to the other side, the door is unlocked.

It will be one of these in the BDC - change to "aktiv":
VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK
CLI_DEFAULT_UNLOCK_AFTER_END_OF_DRIVING
CLM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK

They did change the parameter on newer software versions so the coding is different. I had to find the right thing to change when I had a software update done on my F55 and again when I bought my Connected 5.0 equipped Clubman. Haven't seen a 2018 model though...

being worked on...but currently no solution. same situation here. i'm using a Tune2Air for the time being but am considering aftermarket HU...yes i'm aware i lose access to the settings....don't care.
I ordered and received the Vgate iCar Pro Wi-Fi OBD2 dongle and it would not communicate with my 2017 MCS either it is defective or the wrong item so I'm returning it and I ordered the Vgate WiFi2 OBD2 Elm327 dongle to replace it. I am hoping this works.
btw - on my android phone I had the same behavior _until_ I turned airplane mode on and then wifi on (to effectively turn off mobile data). I think bimmercode doesn't cope properly when there are multiple network interfaces.
I use my iPad for programming. I disable BT and all other wifi connections before starting to program. No Problem so far.

That is how mine works as well. I think I will try disabling BT and other WIFI as Vetsvette suggests and see if that avoids the second start. NBD either way I guess.
ok thanks for all the help , i did manage to get the rear fog lights to work as brake lights in expert mode, but i did loose the lights in the bumper only the outside works ( i have not done the factory update for brake lights yet )does any body know if they can all work still , thanks for the help

I finally got a programmer (wifi ob2 dongle and the Bimmercode app), as a nice gift from the family. So, I've made three changes to my '16 Clubman S:
1 - The radio will now turn off when I open the door. This has really pissed me off since day 1.
2 - I got rid of the nag screen. I've had lots of cars that do this so I'm sort of used to it, but I'm glad to see it go.
3 - I programmed it to show tire temps as well as pressures.
I haven't actually DRIVEN it yet so I'm not sure if these all "took" or not, but I hope so! I'm a little surprised that the thing measures tire temps at all.
Also coming soon - a lighted shift ****. I'm surprised that I've missed this, but as I've had three BMWs with the feature I really do notice the lack of it.
I'm going ahead and donating another 200 internet points to charity in @2017All4's name since I'm still not using the automatic mirror folding option.

And it is most entertaining, especially for anyone watching you do it, to learn just how long to hold the button on the door or the fob... cheap thrills. If mine weren't a leased car, I might be concerned that the fold motors might fail after a few years from constant use.
On behalf of the Home for Wayward MINIs, your generous donation of internet points is gratefully acknowledged. Happy Holidays.

I installed theirs in both my F56 and F60. Can't stand the stock one, both how it looks and feels.
Took me a while to work out where to access 12V in the F60, but did so a few weeks ago.
Looks 100x better than stock, and SHOULD be MINI's choice for stock IMHO.
