Where is the f54 aftermarket love!?

So now that my car is in order I have been preparing my lists on wants and needs. Sad to say though there is next to nothing for our Clubbies. Now I know in gen2 the cars sharers pretty everything from front seats forward and in gen3 we have a completely different platform but is there no demand for parts? While I debated if I ever wanted an actual 4 door the refinement in the f54 from my r55 and the still unique styling convinced me but I often wonder when companies are forced to mainstream cars like the Clubman if you loose to much of the enthusiast market for people to stick or produce all the fun add ons. Anyway if anyone has started adding and or modding their f54 I would love to know what and where you are getting parts. Thanks!

Suspension options, black out trim parts, bits and baubles lol. Idk I'm just used to having a multitude of stuff good bad or otherwise and when I pick my car on most sites there are less than 15 things of any sort.

My real want currently are black out trim which I think I found from someone in China, will keep people posted. My second want is a coilover option for ddc suspension. JCW pro exhaust would be nice too!

Same situation.
I ordered a black out trim in the dealer, it was a Must for me to get the front grill in black. So the dealer is going to paint me wheels & grill as part of the deal.

I tried to find some options about exhaust (PRO no available at the moment) so I'll probably remove the intermediate exhaust to get more pops and crackles.

Can anyone confirm is the f56 shares the same suspension as the f54? A couple companies list the f54 and the f56 as compatible on the same coilovers but then others don't. Can't seem to get a definitive answer.

So I found a girl in China that does these for all minis including f54. I asked for pricing list and more detailed pics of the back side and if she does a grill piece. One I get some pricing I'll see if anyone is interested in ordering together.

If those are the "stick on" covers I would not recommend them. I bought a set and was very disappointed. Not inexpensive. Cheap materials that scratch easily. Received two left frontrings. Seller would not accept return. Took a them off and threw them away. Chalked it up to experience. I am either going to wait for MINI to release rings or have mine painted. Just my opinion.

Eibach offers a coil spring set in Europe, but I haven't found it in the US yet. Would be nice to see it over here as an option.

I've done the Dinantronix sport tuner and some coding using the Carly setup. Next on my list of mods is the Cravenspeed short shifter and ****.

I've wanted those too. Damn Mini, already has those listed for the new Countryman. Why aren't they available for the Clubby!

Yeah the other OEM thing I'm missing big time is the full cargo cover with sides for when the back seats are down. This thing was a life saver with the dogs!

Suspension is not the same I ordered lowering springs for my F54 from cravenspeed and they ended up not fitting they were great and refunded me since it was a mistake on their end but I'm still waiting for something to come out that will fit our cars

That's good to hear, their site says f54 still on the springs and I emailed them to clarify but have not heard back. I'm chasing down some things in the euro market and will keep this thread posted.

Here's the Eibach.... Looks like Tire Rack is carrying them.

Awesome hope that is true and not a typo on their part although I have heard Eibach had them in their euro catalog.

Logan from Craven also got back to me yesterday and as F54Toronto stated he said again they are not compatible and has updated the site. He also said sadly and someone I talked to at outmotoring said as well is there has been very little demand for aftermarket for the F54 so that kind of sucks. Hopefully with the JCW maybe it will get some more love but I think MINI by mainstreaming the design somewhat and having it share nothing with the other platforms has essentially killed the aftermarket for us.

Please, splash guards. Any car that has not had them while I have lived here has gotten road tar on it

Those are for the R55, R57 (5706.140) not the F54 Clubman. Nothing for the F54 Clubman yet.

https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/5706.140/

Note that the F55, F56, F57 share some things. The F54 suspension and some parts share on the OEM side with the new F60. So the F54 and F60 are their own creature.

Here are some items for the F54:

Also as soon as the factory ones come out I will let you guys know.

Till then we have RallyArmour.

Sign up on our site and you will be emailed when new F54 comes out.

@ecstuning my understanding is the Clubman is built of the x1 platform, is there any commonalities in parts there?

Yes, some but not on the aftermarket yet. The newest X1 does not have much either. It's more shared with the F60 and the F54 is a variant of that.

If development happens for suspension it's going to carry over from the F60, unlike gen 2 MINI where it carried over from the R57.

When things come up we will let you know.

What springs for what model? The JCW on the F54 is a 4 wheel drive platform, the ones H&R is testing for the US/Euro are for the 2 wheel drive platform. Four wheel drive MINI have a different ride height and rear geometry. We had a F54 ALL4 here and it's different in the back end and a little higher in the air. They might be testing those as we speak. Same might be with AC Schnitzer, they are usually the first to the game. Hold tight.

Best way to make black out parts. Is to use wrap. I use it before on my previous Mini and it works great. Also KW already make some lowering springs.
