Sirius XM photo of artist and station logo

Hi I have a question about Sirius XM artist and channel logo . Mini Cooper clubman 2017 with mini connected. No picture of artist in the screen and no logo, but local FM radio station has it. What could be a problem

This is normal for XM; I don't think they transmit photos with the song info. I've never seen an FM radio station that includes an artist photo; maybe that's an extra feature not supported by my 6" screen. The radio does seem to have a number of generic images it uses based on station genre, such as a news announcer (for my local NPR station), violinist (public radio classical), etc. I do wish they were also used for XM.

Yes, SiriusXM doesn't transmit images. But many HD Radio stations do.

Channel logos? Or album art? If it's just channel logos, that's because it's built into the radio. If it's album art, that doesn't make sense.

I just did some reading about this. Looks like it's something that SiriusXM started offering in 2013 with new hardware. I have three cars with Sirius/XM/SiriusXM (somehow, they are all the same, but different) but none of them have album art. I didn't know it was a thing. Apparently some Toyotas and Subarus have the hardware, maybe others ... in any case, it seems, not BMW/MINI.

Our New to us 2017 Clubman displays Album Artwork on Sirius.
We are having an issue where the broadcast goes into Delay mode sometimes even though we don't have that checked in the options.
has anyone else noticed this?

We have the Clubman S All4. Build date was about a year ago I think. I'll have to verify that.
We didn't have to do any settings for the Artwork that I'm aware of. It starts showing it after being on the channel for about half a minute.

Which display do you have, Connected (6 inch) or Connected XL (8 inch)? The album artwork and channel logos do not show on Connected, but do on the Connected XL. I learned this when I had the Connected XL in a loaner last year.
