Germany: Group buy: M7 Under Strut System

Any interest in a group buy for the M7 Under Strut System? You know, a little somethin' something to help out with the runs through the forests and the Alps.

I suspect it's probably work out to, oh, about $300 per if it's an order for five, better if it's closer to ten. I'd be willing to harrass the vendors to find the deal, I suppose, but would welcome help.

Intent is to place the order in mid April, for delivery hopefully in early April. While some will be repackaged to further distributed via MPS, I'm also interested in putting together an installation day and a curvy drive, to test them out. Installation would likely be in K-Town, which seems to be equidistant for those interested.

I'll likely want half up front, especially if this thing neads above five (I'm not a vendor, just a grenade-totin' trigger puller).

I am in if we get it bought in April. With the exhaust and the pulley going in this month, I think the boss might object to me spending some more money! I am definitely in for an April timeframe though!

Damn you, Blimey! What are you doing surfing the posts for Europe?

And I heard from the good folks at M7 on this -- I think this is going to be do-able. Something about loving folks who have an APO address.....

(And when I told the wife the first couple of quotes I had on prices to do this, she said, I kid you not, "Well, in that case, you have to get one.....")

Yeah, wives seem to understand the concept of the deal more than the understand want vs. need. Which is good.

For me, its ALWAYS a need Why can't the misses understand that. I need to go faster. I need to have better handling in the corners. I need to strengthen the car. I need more MODS.

Its never a want. Its a necessity.

That, my friend, is part of God's plan. Stuff like that doesn't just happen randomly.

I'd love to do this, but "when" will be the issue. When we have a more solid date, please let me know.

Ditto for me.

We could have the order sent to one APO address then divided up and MPS'd out to each individual for free.

Pretty cool that M7 ships to APO boxes. Most vendors don't so I use ShipitAPO.com. They've been great even when I've shipped items as large as an exhaust system through them.

Yes, I think it would be possible to re-push to another APO in Europe. Legally, I think we'd be AKO with that (SOFA and the like).

Timeframe? I think placing the order in mid April would be good, for delivery and an installation party in May sometime. daflake, maybe we push this to you via MPS as well, and the rest can gather in K-town for installation, and thus spread out the driving amongst us all.

What do you think, folks?

I'll have to pass on the Odenwald run this time. I'm out of pocket until mid May. A late May brace install would be perfect for me. Great timing for Mini United.

I was thinking of trying to get the order in on / about 01 April, for a late April / early May install.

One options would be to shoot for doing install during the Mini Challenge weekend 20-22 April, and doing the install (for those interested) out near Hockenheim.

So, you've got about two weeks to figur eout if you want in or not.

What did you get for the final price on these, or is it going to depend on how many we order?

MINI Challenge weekend would be a good time for an install. Another MINI weekend as this one has been

Only if you guys can get Kitchen Passes again. This will definately require the M7

Plan on $300. Should be a safe number.

And yes, 20-22 April would work for me. I am sure the hills nearby would suffer a test drive, as needed....
